BASE Jump Moab is here to share the inspiration of flight with the world and successfully manufacture smiles (and’ve been doing it since 2018 ) We’ve guided, jumped, and documented hundreds of people facing their fears, pushing their limits, and finally tasting flight. We have weight restrictions but, no age restrictions— and as inclusive as possible! Anyone is welcome.

BASE jumping in Moab is special and its our goal to give you a truly enjoyable and immersive interaction with the outdoors. Moab is home to ancient ruins and art, native plants and animal life, and its a gift to just experience the desert. Jumping off Moab’s cliffs and flying through its canyons is icing on a very delicious cake. We leap off the earth and into thin air gliding safely to the ground where every time we continue to find smiles. What you can Expect:

Before doing anything in Moab, Ut— we have a release of liability waiver that each passenger/ client signs. For tandem BASE jumping passengers we as well have a log book to sign! We will educate you about the potential risks and consequences in BASE jumping; especially those associated with Tandem BASE Jumping. We will train you to make a safe jump and prep you with practice drills and test jumps while immersing you in basic information about how the gear works, and what is expected of you and the team involved. We will drive 45 minutes from Moab to the location and to reach the exit point you hike a flat trail for about half of a mile.

Once at the exit we will go through the BASE jump Moab rituals and protocols and prepare for a safe jump. You countdown together with the tandem master and jump together with the tandem master. You will free fall tandem for approximately 2-3 stomach-turning seconds (~100-150â€), feeling much like a roller coaster drop, providing brilliant sensation of falling before the parachute reaches full inflation and full flight. The parachute cracks open from a military style static line system and you will float out into the canyon and navigate to the bottom. Upon landing it is common to stand up and it is common to slide in on our butts; so just listen to your Tandem Instructor and try to wear long pants and closed toed shoes.

Once safely on the ground at the bottom there is a celebration, pictures, thanks, and then everything is packed up. All in all our trips take about 2-4 hours depending on a few factors like number of people in your party- and which cliff you are jumping. This is by far the most accessible Tandem BASE has ever been and we plan to keep it that way.
