Cost & Payment

We strive to keep our camp affordable for the average family and to be competitive with other sports-oriented overnight camps. It costs us $2,500 per camper to operate. We rely on the generous contributions of our supporters to offer the camp experience, significantly below cost. Limited partial and full, need-based scholarships are available too. Ask the camp director if you would like more information.

Tuition for a one-week session of Extreme Sports Camp is $1600 for the camper & $250 for the parent/aide. Total for camper & parent/aide $1850. The Lake Powell Travel Camp for a one-week session is $2000 for the camper & $250 for the parent/aide. Total for the camper & parent/aide is $2250. The Day Camp for Ages 5-9 is $400 for 5 days and includes snacks and all recreational fees. Tuition costs include the following for all travel camps and overnight camps:

Tuition costs include the following:

• Meals from Sunday dinner through Sunday breakfast for the camper
• Snacks and drinks during the day from Monday through Saturday for the camper
• Meals for one family member/aide while they accompany camper at breakfast and dinner (lunch is on your own)
• Sleep accommodations for the camper and parent/aide
• 1:1 Camper/Counselor ratio
• All recreation/activity fees and related local transportation for the camper

Travel to and from Aspen is the responsibility of the camper. Meals and activities for the aide/family member during the day are not part of the camp fees. Purchase of any souvenirs or personal items is the responsibility of the camper.

A 50% deposit must accompany the registration form. The balance is due in full 30 days prior to the start of the selected session. Payment method can be made by check or money order to Extreme Sports Camp or via credit card over the phone or on the registration form.
