Campers

Each general weekly session can accommodate 12-15 campers.  The travel camps will only have 5-7 campers.  Participants will have a diagnosis of autism, PDD (NOS), Asperger’s Syndrome or a related disorder. Campers must be between the ages of 8 and 18. No medical conditions that would keep them from engaging in physical activities.

Campers will need to have the maturity and capacity to be away from family and familiar settings and to engage in physical activities. Self-toileting with minimal assistance is expected.

We recognize that individuals with ASD may have behavioral issues, and our staff is trained to anticipate and respond to them in a positive and supportive way. Nevertheless, Extreme Sports Camp reserves the right to refuse any camper who might potentially jeopardize the safety of him/herself or other campers.
