Our mission is to enhance the health, social engagement, and personal growth of children and adults with autism through challenging, attainable, and enjoyable athletic programs which lead to the incorporation of outdoor recreational sports into daily life.
We welcome participants age eight and older on the autism spectrum, including classic autism, PDD-NOS, Asperger’s Syndrome, and related diagnoses. Those of any athletic ability can succeed, and we pride ourselves on fostering success in our activities while having fun!
To ensure progress and safety, ESC has a greater than 1:1 hands-on staff to camper ratio. Our staff receives extensive training in autism learning styles, and most have prior experience working with kids and adults on the autism spectrum. We believe in using only positive behavioral and communication supports. Our unique sports instruction model incorporates teaching theories that have been proven effective with autism. Our staff members and sports partners include experts in the athletic activities we undertake.

Extreme Sports Camp was incorporated in 2004 and operates as a non-profit 501c3 corporation, tax ID # 20-0940000. ESC is a licensed child care facility by the State of Colorado.
